Rated 1 out of 5 by from Love the design, but not the quality I bought this to use as a silverware caddy and love the design. Unfortunately, this is the second piece in the Close to Home collection that I have bought (Hostess Rewards Round Tray was the other), and I absolutely can not recommend the collection at all. The quality was very poor on both pieces with incomplete staining of the wood, chips in the black handles, an overall rough and smeared appearance to the coating, faded personalization, and it was just plain dirty, leaving my hands covered with black dust. Even IF I was to overlook the flaws, I could never feel like I washed it well enough to put utensils in it or food on it. Thirty-One needs to either drastically improve quality control on this collection or stick with what they do best...BAGS!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money I was not happy with this product. The sides were bowed and the joint work sloppy. Maybe I am critical because my husband's hobby is woodwork that I was disappointed with this. I did not get it personalized so ended giving it away for a door prize at a training session. Thankfully, I used my November double hostess credits for this caddy but still, makes me leary in the quality of the other pieces in this series.

The look is timeless, and the personalization I chose reminds me to keep my focus on what matters most. When I have a meeting, I simply pick it up and take it with me so that all of my supplies are at hand. I plan to get another to use at home.

When it did come you cant even read the last name and had wood putty all over holes and scratches. Would look like a second IMO called they redid it and it looks worst. Would NOT recommend this to anyone. Waste of money. Nothing like the serving tray.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Family phone charging station I hosted a party last month (December 2018) and bought my caddy as a half priced item. As many people have stated; it is small but perfect for my intended uses. When we have family gatherings (like we did for Christmas and New Years) I put cutlery inside it. I used to use glass jars that looked nice but were not as sturdy. When not hosting a gathering, the caddy is in my kitchen counter as our family charging station. I have strict family rules that all phones are plugged in at night and it’s helpful to have a designated spot to do this. My big con was the packaging. There was a crazy amount of cardboard/tape on handles and I had to use scissors to remove (which was still difficult). In the process the handles became really scratched and tarnished. The personalization came out perfect. I was worried it would be too light but I think it shows up well. Overall, I enjoy this product and will probably purchase more in the further as gifts.

I love the personalization options on this- I went with feathers, and love it so much I'm getting a 2nd one. I do agree that the personalization could be darker, but have read tips on that.

The quality is exceptional. the finishes on the wood and metal handles is way better than expected. The only issue I had with one out of 6, is the laser engraving was too light on one to read the second line. All others looked great. I was very proud to give these as gifts.
